Left fielder Matt Holliday had 2 base hits and 2 RBI as the Dominican
Republicans topped the Chainsaw Proctologists by a score of 3 to 1 at the
ballpark.
Dominican started with a bang, jumping out to an early lead in their half of
the first when they scored 2 runs on 3 hits. That was all the offense they
were to need. Dominican had 10 hits for the afternoon.
The victory went to Mike Mussina(8-7) who went 7 innings, allowing 1 run.
Jorge Julio gained credit for his 6th save. Josh Towers(5-7) was tagged with
the loss. He was the victim of a defensive lapse and did not allow an earned
run in the game.
'It wasn't my best outing, but I'll take the win' Mussina said.
